Tad Riggert

About Me

My parents built one of the first homes in Silver Lake in 1975 and lived here 41 years.  I lived here for several years after graduating high school.  Through my parents living here, I have a unique history of the evolution, and changes of the Silver Lake community.

 

My wife, Teri, and I moved to the same house in June of 2016 from Kansas City, Kansas. Together, we have three children, all of which live in the Cass County area.  I retired from the Belton Fire Department after 37 years, as an Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal.  In our spare time, we like to travel, do woodworking projects and photography.

 

I have been a Board member for two years.  In this time, I have held the position of Secretary, and most recently Treasurer.
